It was such a nice day the other day and Jon had gotten the back yard cleaned up last weekend that the kids and I had a picnic in the backyard. Andrew thought it was fun.

I keep forgetting to post a picture of Ashlee's room. I am happy with the way it turned out.

Ashlee

I decided to take a few pictures of Ashlee yesterday because she was looking and being so cute so I thought I would post them. I can't belive how big she is getting. She is almost 10 months old. She is walking along furniture and will be walking on her own soon I am sure. She says ma ma and da da and what really sounds like Andrew (A du) It is so cute.

Fireplace

I painted the fireplace. It used to be red brick that was stained and no matter how much I sanded and scrubbed it wasn't going to come clean so I decided it would look better if we painted it. I also spray painted the doors. They used to be gold. I didn't really get a good before picture because Jon's grandma had her furniture stacked in the living room when I started working on the fireplace but here is a not so great before picture of the living room and an after. I am still working on the living room. I still need to finish painting the living room. I painted the wall where the fireplace is but that is about it so far. Lots to do but it is coming along. I pretty much have everything unpacked and put away just need to figure out where to hang pictures and put knick knacks and stuff. Not too bad for for just moving Saturday night. Needless to say I have been quite busy.

Andrew's room

Here are a couple of pictures of Andrew's room. I am still working on getting things put away and pictures up on the walls of Ashlee's room so I will post some pictures when I get that done. Andrew loves his new room and his big boy bed.

I am not sure if everyone knows yet but we are moving. We are trading houses with Jon's Grandma. She has a 3 bedroom house with a huge yard and we have a 2 bedroom condo so it makes sense for all of us to trade places.
We have been over there every chance we have the last few weeks getting things ready to move in. I have scraped the popcorn ceilings in every room except the masterbedroom, cleaned and primed the fireplace, painted both the kids rooms and we have completely remodeled the hall bathroom. We just have a few finishing touches on the bathroom and it is all done. Everything is looking great so far and we are planning on moving the weekend of the 28th, so just 2 more weeks. It will be nice to have a yard for the kids to play in and they will have their own rooms so hopefully I won't be getting up every couple hours all night because they keep waking each other up. We are very excited about the move it is a nice neighborhood and the neighbors seem really friendly.
